Day 1: Lisbon
Explore historic neighborhoods: Alfama, Baixa, and Bairro Alto.
Visit Belém Tower, Jerónimos Monastery, and try pastéis de nata at Pastéis de Belém.
Day 2: Lisbon
Take the tram 28 route for a scenic city tour.
Visit São Jorge Castle and enjoy views over the city and the Tagus River.
Day 3: Sintra (Day trip from Lisbon)
Explore Pena Palace, Moorish Castle, and Quinta da Regaleira’s mystical gardens.
Return to Lisbon in the evening.
Day 4: Porto
Travel to Porto by train (about 3 hours).
Stroll along Ribeira district, visit the Dom Luís I Bridge, and taste port wine in Vila Nova de Gaia.
Day 5: Porto and Douro Valley
Explore Livraria Lello bookstore and Clérigos Tower.
Optional half-day trip to Douro Valley vineyards for wine tasting and river views.
Day 6: Coimbra or Aveiro
Choose Coimbra to see the historic university and Joanina Library, or
Visit Aveiro, known as the “Venice of Portugal,” for its canals and colorful boats.
Day 7: Algarve or Return to Lisbon
Option to head south to the Algarve coast for stunning beaches and coastal towns like Lagos, or
Return to Lisbon for last-minute sightseeing or shopping.
